Cookies and browser storage

Supabase authentication uses cookies to maintain and refresh your signed-in session. Blocking these can prevent account and library access. Stripe’s embedded payment interface may use its own storage and technical identifiers for payment operation and fraud prevention, subject to Stripe’s policies.

These functions are separate from optional website analytics. Refusing analytics does not disable checkout or your account.

Local storage is information held by your browser rather than a cookie automatically sent with every request. Labescape stores your analytics choice under labescape-consent. This preference has no application-set expiry and can remain until you change it or clear browser storage.

Template favorites are saved to your signed-in account in the database, not just a browser cookie. Clearing browser storage does not by itself delete your saved favorites or purchase records. You can remove favorites within your library.

When Google Analytics is configured, it loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It measures page and product views, relevant link clicks, guide activity, checkout starts and confirmed purchases. Google may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_*; their expiry depends on the configured Google service settings.

After consent, permitted campaign identifiers are stored in session storage as labescape-attribution. The application uses local purchase markers to reduce duplicate purchase reporting. Session storage normally lasts for a browser-tab session, while local markers remain until cleared. Analytics event data is not the same as browser storage and has its own provider retention settings.

The application excludes form contents and email addresses from analytics events and removes checkout query strings from reported page URLs. Do not include personal information in campaign URLs. No analytics preference control is shown when analytics is not configured.

When analytics is enabled, use Privacy choices below the page content, then choose No thanks to withdraw consent. This stops further application analytics, clears stored campaign attribution and attempts to remove the Google Analytics cookies accessible to the site. It does not erase data already received by a provider.

You may also manage cookies and site storage through your browser. Clearing your consent preference may cause the site to ask again. Blocking essential storage can interrupt sign-in or payment functions. To request deletion of personal data held by us, use the contact process in the Privacy Policy.
